Tenedos Bay
On the advice of Mac and Catherine on Indigo, who we met when they rafted to us in Comox, we spent a couple of glorious days at Tenedos Bay.
We anchored in the northwestern cove, which was empty when we got there. It's almost entirely landlocked, and while getting in and out was a little hair-raising, it was amazing to have the cove all to ourselves.
We sailed Gone Fission, went swimming, sunbathed and showered on deck. It was even more tropical than Galley Bay, until the morning when we were to leave, we spent an hour watching a bear cub hunt barnacles on the beach nearest us.
It was truly a wonderful anchorage - not to be missed if you're heading to Desolation Sound.
