South America!
On November 10, at about 11:00 pm local time, we crossed the equator. We celebrated by having a little party with champagne and snacks, and had even managed to have a fabulous dinner of escargot that evening. The next morning, we pulled into Bahía de Caráquez, Ecuador.

We plan to be based out of Bahía until March, when we hope to head to the Galapagos Islands.
