As those of you who usually hear from us will attest, Steven & I have been very busy the past month. Much of that time was spent acquiring our Ham Radio licenses and learning about Ham Radio operation.
We did successfully each receive our Basic (+) certification, which entitles us to operate on all the amateur bands. The point of this certification was to be able to use amateur radio to communicate with people while offshore, and access weather information and rudimentary email while making passages.
