We've used the lazy jacks a number of times. Recently, however, one of the cleats that we attached to the stays broke off in 25kn of wind. We were never really happy with that part of the system, so now we have mounted cleats directly on the mast. This systems seems to work better as the cleats are more secure and the lines are lead closer together.
