A narrow, shallow maze littered with rocks and shoals, Smuggler's Cove is IMHO a threat to life and vessel. If you have to go there, make sure to enter and exit near high tide. As Smuggler's Cove is literally surrounded by better anchorages, I will not return. Try Secret Cove (49.31.6N 123.58.2W) or Water Bay (49.29.6N 123.59.1W).
